My heart has a mind of it's own.

Yes, most definitely yes. At least for now.

Couldn't always say that. Not for the past 15 years that I yearned for that special someone to stop dragging his feet and make the commitment. But I suppose that saying is all too true: why buy the cow when the milk comes for free?

But I digress. The mind is in control now, and the bull is where it belongs.

I believe that the two are great companions. Yes, I know that the mind controls my heart. It is a "grand and wonderful" feeling. Peace, Love and God Bless.

No way. I wish it did but it doesn't. My mind is strong, my heart less so. If I had always followed my mind, my heart would be suffering less now. But what would be the fun in that?

Yup, but my heart is currently planning to break free. Mind always catches heart, though. Heart is too stupid to escape. Heart is always in love, mind is always stressed out and busy - and superior.
