A resounding no. He has a not too talented team in the top 25 and giving a good Georgia squad all they can handle. Say what you want about Saban's ethics, but he is a great college football coach. He'll have top ten recruiting classes over the next 3 years and be knocking on the door of a natl. title within that span of time. Book it.

Why don't you wait a couple of seasons before you judge him. He didn't recruit a single player that's starting for Bama. In a couple of years Bama will have his stamp on it. Let's see what you think then. If any team has his stamp this year it's LSU. Look how they're doing.

It's too early to tell. Among the most important elements of the job of coaching is recruitment. He appears to be making the most of the hand he's been dealt. His Fourth Quarter approach seems to be working -- even though they lost. I think the Georgia coach is also working with a team with some deficits. He did pretty well considering.
