I think this is crazy! The United States is slowly losing its national identity and pride, and is being overtaken by other countries. I dont have a problem with foreign companies buying into American stuff, but allowing foreign nations to buy up the US is wrong.
This insanity will end if and only if Ron Paul becomes the president. He is a true American, and is totally opposed to other nations buying up the US. He is the only person in this next election who would take a strong stand on this issue and most of the others.

I thought I heard that they were also buying the NASDAQ or some other Wall Street institution. It is a security threat. Our greed is going to kill us. 'Nations' should not be allowed to buy US property or businesses.
We are literally selling ourselves to the highest bidder. Our businesses and institutions are a part of all of us. Once sold, especially to a country that could become hostile to us, it effects us all.
What if China buys GM or Citicorp and does things to effect our economy in a negative way to get a competitive advantage over the US or our dollar? Legislation needs to be passed to stop this.

The U.S. Military is one of U.S.A.'s best assets. I wonder how long until we auction off our ships and tanks. Our leadership sometimes has no phuqing brains. Some other countries don't allow foreign ownership of properties or businesses for reason of self preservation.
Maybe our new aircraft carriers will be built in China?

Dubai is diversifing, not really a hostile country, but ther are extremist everywhere. And who knows who there friends are behind closed doors.
