The most recent problem is that the engine temp gauge goes up to the red and the check engine light goes on, but it isn't overheating, it blows no fluid and makes no noise. As soon as it gets to the red, the needle drops to cold and the car stops putting out heat (through the heater) and I only get cold air all the time we've replaced the thermostat and still no luck still always cold air even in summer what the problem also when idleing my oil pressure gauge drops down and the oil in my car was just changed we've just replaced the tansmission filter and it raddles and shakes terrible idleing.

This is most likely caused by a blown head gasket. The 3.8 liter engine that Ford produced is notorious for this concern, along with leaking front cover gasket and water pump failure. If you repair it, make sure you get good quality gaskets and equally as important, replace all the head bolts. More than likely the coolant is going is going out of the exhaust. If this has been blown a while, you may need an entire engine because of the main and rod bearings could be ruined from coolant.
