From early on, I never trusted him. I doubt that he's Jill's son. He was always mysteriously talking, in hushed tones, to someone on the phone when he first got to town. He was assuring them that everything was in place. Then there was this uncle from Australia, whatever happened to him coming to town?? There's just too many questions where Cane is concerned. I think he's part of some long range plan to bilk Jill and Catherine out of their money and companies. At lease that what those mystery phone calls sounded like.
I just hope this isn't one of those story lines that got started, then forgot about, and we're all left twisting in the wind wondering what happened. Cane is a very dubious character, cute, but not what he appears.

I never felt sorry for Cane. He may be cute, but you can tell something isn't right with him. The way he treated Kay, then all of a sudden, he switched gears and loves his Grandmum!
Then when he was talking to, I think Heather/maybe/Lily and I do apologize I forgot exactly what he said, but he stated at the end of the conversation, "Then I will use it with his NEXT girlfriend!."... When they themselves was hoping that would be them.
Then when Cane found out Lily was only 19, the look on his face was priceless. Oops.......there goes Lily - just a friend.
I hope he hooks up with Heather and then Paul finally plays the "Dad" role and digs further into Cane and finds out who he really is and what he is up too!

I think that Cane will end up conning both Jill & Kay. Awhile back when he was on the phone w/ unc in Australia, "almost in place" whatever he said - something to that - sounded like he had something up his sleeve. I hope that he isn't a conman, that is really the last thing that Jill needs to be dealing with!

I agree Darlene,I think Cane has a few secrets up his sleeve.
And I think Professor Korbel is Jill's son,not Cane.

He is phoney; because after the second DNA test he and Jill had that was positive, he called his uncle in Australia and something like "I think I've hit it". Haven't heard anything since, but for some reason he seems "too good to be real", and he's probably a bigger scammer than "Amber".
I don't agree with "Muffin", Lily deserves to be hurt the way she is treating "Daniel".
"Till death do us part", well as soon as someting happens, she gives up and runs to someone even worse "acting like Cane is some sort of God" or something. "Daniel and Amber" have been friends "forever" and not once have they gotten "romatically involved". She is a "two-faced spoiled rich brat" who deserves to be hurt.
