Is there a cable i can buy that hooks from my computer to my tv? and it willl show what on my computer.

Some laptops have s-video ports that are for this purpose. Look at your ports and see if you have it. If you do, then all you need is an s-video cable. There are VGA to TV converters, do a search and you'll find some...the good ones are expensive.

If your computer has a video out, normally it's an S-Video cable, otherwise you may need to buy a special adapter.

What is what called????? Im kidding. Get a video card that has an S Video connection and that should have the cable with it. That will allow you to hook it up to your t.v. assuming you have an S-video on your t.v.

if you have a tv tuner card, then i believe that just takes a regular tv cable

But most computers with a video card, comes with a s-video, and you can get that at a radioshack
