PLEASE MATH HELP on SEQUENCES?

The 4th term of a sequence is 4 and the 6th term is 6/ Every term after the 2nd is the sum of the 2 preceding terms. what is the 8th term of the sequence?

PLEASE HELP AND SHOW/EXPLAIN how to get answer

6 = 2 + ? thus 5th = 2
?+4 = 2 thus 3rd = -2
4 = -2 + ? thus 2nd =6
etc etc
