Wouldn't it be just if the blcakwater gang got the same fair trial as Saddam and the same consequences?

I have no problem with the Iraqi government offering any of blackwater guys the same fate Saddam had.
that is democracy in action. Isn' that what Bush wants in Iraq? democracy? or just oil?

I think that for the Iraqi government to have any legitimacy in the eyes of the rest of the world (including the US), they should be allowed and empowered to punish the blackwater guys.
Allowing them to issue them the same fate as Saddam though, I think that's slightly excessive. As bad as the blackwater guys were, it's not quite Saddam-esque in terms of impact or longevity.
I'm afraid that Bush just wants oil in Iraq, which means he'll pump money and American blood into Iraq for the sake of "democracy" there.

the whole thing will end up making clear that malaki's group is not the government.
Blackwater will stay long after our troops withdraw, the permanent privtaized occupiers of Iraq.
There is no democracy there, and the republicans around here know that... read their posts. They say Malaki's government has no right to make the call. Whose country is Iraq?

Not just oil.Oil,permanent military bases,less dependence on Saudi oil and big profits for his cooperate friends including blackwater
