I am going to start an online store and want to know what to sell, so what is something you buy online or that people need?

The books for this will tell you that the best bet is to find or create something that is not being sold online. In all of the internet SOMEONE will want it. If its something that everyone wants, then everyone is already offering it online.
If you can find something like some cute little doll being made in some country that can make it cheap, and you find that its not being sold very effectively online, then making a great website and doing some great ad pushing online can make you some good money.
