I live in Texas....its pretty cool but not the best in my opinion....and yes i admit California is pretty cool...since i know tons of people are going to say california... but the best state in my opinion is Colorado
its amazing....All the cites and little towns are great!....its beautiful there....theres not much crime i hear of
and pretty much no matter where you are in Colorado you can see mountains!
what do you think the best state is?

I live in Colorado, and it's not as good as you say it is. I used to live in Limestone County, Texas and now I live in Pueblo County, Colorado, and let me tell you! It is not all daisies and roses! We have to same problems with crime, education, and politics as you do in Texas. There defiantly isn't much difference in crime rate though. Sure, we have the mountains here, but in Texas you have to wide open spaces. The little towns really are pretty great though. I love Texas and that is where my home will always be, but, then again, Colorado is okay too. I thought Texas sucked until I moved to Colorado. I guess you dont know what you go till its gone right?

That is a tough one because I like so many places. California is awesome, I really don't know, if I had a choice I would combine the best of the states, some California, some Hawaii, Colorado, Maine, Michigan and throw a Chicago in for good measure (I know Chicago is not a state, but the rest of Illinois kind of sucks). I have lived in New York, Colorado, with short stays in Kentucky, Georgia and most of my life in California.
I know California has everything but I am prejudice. So I say California but I know all states have great things going for them.

I really love Washingtom! You can have everything... the ocean... mountains... forests. I live in New Mexico.. and though we have mountains.. your really can't beat the ranges in washington. I really like the seattle area... but really crouded. I know what alot of you are saying "it rains 75% of the time there." I don't see that as bad.. I am from the desert! Give me the rain baby!

I agree with Colorado. I used to live there and cried when the plane was leaving Denver.

ohh i love Denver, Colorado. one of my favorite cities...
but my favorite state is Maryland! its great because it doesn't take long to get to a city, or to the countryside, to the ocean, the mountains....just about anywhere! its all here (: and the weather here is pretty good too :D
