If you are speaking of 'official medical abbreviations' --- FM is the official abbreviation for 'finger movement'.
It would depend on the how and where the abbreviation was used.

Fibromyalgia.
It's an awful thing to have! There's no cure; no real treatment that works. Some doctors even deny that it exists but that just means they don't have it!!! It often follows with arthritic conditions and just adds to the discomfort in a big way. Look it up.

It stands for Fibromyalgia. It is painful and very discomforting. It hurts to walk (for me anyhow), to where I can only walk a block and have to set to let the pain subside.
