The Cracker Jack Box by far. It has all that history going for it, and the prizes were far more cheesy. Plus, it tasted better. You will never hear the words to a famous sports song(Take Me Out To The Ballgame) mention a cereal or gumball machine. I loved buying(getting) Cracker Jacks as a kid. This is an experience my ten year old son will never have. The times are so much different than when I was a kid. We still wrote on slate tablets rather than paper.

I found the toy inside the cereal box was invariable or better quality than the cracker jack or the gumball machine toy. but I cracker jack toy was always the most exciting because there was the suspense.

The prize inside the Cracker Jack Box. I think that the main reason why that was such a big deal was because I very rarely got to eat Cracker Jack. So that alone was like a very special treat.

As far as 'exciting' goes... that would've had to been the Cracker Jack box... the idea of NOT knowing what was in there.. but, SO hoping for a cool hologram.
PS - Have you seen the recent 'prizes' in the Cracker Jack bags now?? Lame-o!!

Has to be the Cracker Jack prize , in fact I have about 50 of those prizes still ,they are about 50 and under years old !

Yeah, that's so authentic. There use to be alot of best stuff in its package deal the first thing I continuously did choosing up a box of it was to appear at its back to see what it has inside of, heh Now it's all just lame stuff, however i suppose since we've got grown up, we could not rather use them anymore anyway

Hard one to answer because they all hold their own piece of excitement for a child.
If I have to choose I would have to go with the toy inside the cereal box. I used to get in real trouble from my parent for hunting for it.
