Noone invented it. Lots of people discovered aspects of it--most notably the Curies.

Neither of them. Radioactivity was 'invented' by the big-bang. But Marie Curie is credited with 'discovering' the phenomena.

Who invented the moon? Or the gravity? Noone. Well, some people think that God did. But now my point is: you are confusing things. The phaenomena exist whether we discover their existence or not.
