I was wondering what that squeek noise was made by everytime someone shifts in 2 Fast 2 Furious....could it be the turbo or maybe the NoS system or something else?

You may not be aware of this, but all the sound you hear in a movie is created in a studio after the movie is made. It could be that you hear what is supposed to sound like a turbo waste gate releasing pressure between shifts.

I have a mustang with a stage 3 clutch and alum. flywheel. Its harder to shift it then reg. cars now. And whenever I have shifted fast I to have gotten that kind of noise. Its a little abrupt. But does not sound like a blow off valve or turbo. So I would say its the use of ceramic clutches and/or multiple clutches(there in races cars, 911 turbo, and sport bikes).

that's the muffler sound adjuster .
my car is an infinty coupe have lots of stuff installed in it it's fully 100% street racing car that i built and put stuff in it but i guess mine is the fastest car on the planet with 650 hp under the hood. u can also cut the pistion get a high air pressure and high pressure fuel pump and 2 sparks for each cylinder that is power there when u can the piston to hold more compression . good luck ...
for the adjuster go to www.jcwhitney.com i would also suggest that u buy a fire extinguisher too to install at the muffler tip they are fun when u rce someone at the stop light and then looking in ur rear view mirror and u see everything fully white ... good luck

I agree with the above answers that it's from the turbo. However, in the movie, the sound folks make it sound better than it really is.
