Im 13 nearly 14 and i am 5'7"
I dont really mind being tall, i acctually like it as i have long legs. But recently i heard this girl talking bout be being a freak because im tall.....what do you guys think?

When I was about your age, I was about your height. Now I'm 30 years old and close to six feet. I never thought much about it, even though I was called Lurch by some boys who knew they could get to me because my backbone didn't develop until after high school, but I survived. Now I'm happy. I've been used to being as tall or taller than everybody else since middle school. By the time I started high school, I was even taller than my mother, who is 5'8". My husband is two inches Ishorter than me. While our daughter, who was just born this past Monday, was on the small side of six pounds, two ounces, is kinda on the long side at 20 inches. My husband noticed her legs when they were giving her her newborn tests and joked that he might have to break a few boys' arms. They seem long, but I don't have anything with which to compare.
Yes, you might be taller than others. However, things are better clothing wise. When I was in high school, there weren't many clothing options for tall women, especially those who weren't thin. (By the time I was 17 I was around 200 pounds; I now weigh 186, which is only 16 pounds more than what I weighed at the beginning of my pregnancy. I don't think much of calories, but I eat very healthy.) Now, I can even walk into Wal-Mart and find long jeans and skirts that I would have no problem wearng to church, or to work if I were working.

Being tall is not a bad thing. I was always the tallest growing up. I am between 5"11-6" now... and I am 19. I guess Ihave stopped growing. Being tall is great. You can model, people always admire you because you are tall, have long legs. Don't worry about it. The girl is probably just jealous of you. You are NOT a freak for being tall.

You've probably just hit your full adult height a little early. I just turned seventeen and I haven't grown since I was a little younger than you. I'd /love/ to be 5'7" (I'm 5'3")! Long legs are a blessing, and the girl's probably just jealous, as you're likely more physically developed than she is. Once you're a bit older, everyone will even out.

Belive it or not, in the long run as your taller, you will make more money in your life time. It's a stat fact.

youre fine, my gf is 5' 10" and she's perfectly fine just try to get used to it beacuse it's out of your control. btw i'm a guy
