What do yo hate about some movies? I just watched a movie called 10th and Wolf. Which was supposed to be based in Philadelphia. My home town. Yet I didn't recognize anything in the movie that said they even tried to make it look like Philly. A guy gets off a bus named PaTransit? Ummm buses around here are named Septa. Or mountain scenery and a back round with a bridge? Hmmm I don't know of any bridges with mountains around them here? If they base a movie in a town at least make it look like it somewhat?

I hate the lack of originality. 'Let's make a movie of every comic book character ever created, then we can make sequel upon sequel and then add prequels! Let's take the one movie that actually WAS original and make a bunch of sequels that weaken the whole concept! Let's remake every movie made before we were born, we won't have to think of ANYthing for those! Let's make a movie of this book, and hopefully that book will have sequels so we can make sequels of the movie!'
I'd blame movie execs but obviously people are still paying for all of it at the ticket office and in the video stores, so they really have no reason to endorse originality. A lot of people wouldn't know it if they saw it anyway.
So yeah, that's what I hate most about movies.
(in the movie the Hunted, they did the same thing to Portland, Ore. that you noticed about Philly in 10th and Wolf)

They may not have legally been able to use the Septa name for the buses. As for the scenery, remember it is fiction. What do I hate? That you have already seen the best parts of a movie in the previews on TV before you even see the movie. I also hate that they build you up for such a great flick and then you are always disappointed. They never live up the they hype they create.

Movie makers do that so that people can not 'flock' to the spot where the movie was made like stupid tourists. They do not use the proper names of things (like your busses) because it is advistisment for the Bus Line that they did not pay for....

I feel you though...I live in South Florida and watched CSI Miami or the Miami Vice movie...what a load of crap that is...they do not even try to make any sense of the area.

It was actually pissing me off since they apparently were not shooting in Miami and the were just using catch phrases like South Beach or Collins Ave. Pure Bullshit

When the action scenes are so far fetched like someone managing to barely escape a bullet, jump up high in the air, and kicks someone butt. That is the worst part of movies, for instance the movie behind enemy lines with the scene on that frozen pond where he slides across the ice missing every bullet and manages to grab that tape, that killed the movie for me.

I LOVE horror movies. I HATE how in the end, you find out that the main character was Schizophrenic. To add to that, I HATE how Hollywood as confused the people by making them think that Schizophrenia is the same as Multiple Peronality Disorder...its not! Schizophrenia is when people have delusions (such as "I AM Christ, God told me) and hallucinations (such as seeing people and things that are not there). Multiple Personality Disorder is just as it sounds: people who have more than 1 (usually 15) different "entities" or personalities.

Bad writing, weak stories, bad actors, bad dialog, bad directing, bad cinematography. Those are a few things that make me hate a movie.

Also, overexaggerated dialog. You know, situations that are supposed to be "real life" but are overacted and have dialog you would never really hear in "real life".

I also dislike movies that are usually aimed at teenagers. Although some are funny and gold, like "Superbad", some are horribly bad like, "Scary Movie".

My biggest pet peeve with ALL movies, no matter what there content, is that the background music is SOOOOO...loud that you cannot hear what they are saying, especially in the crucial parts. I understand that they do this on purpose to get you to the theatre's which compensate with their sound so that you can hear the words and the background without any problem.

I hate movies where the plot is the same. Ex: A man/woman's beloved dies and seeks revenge on those responsible yet finds a new love in the process.

one of the things i cannot STAND about movies is unoriginal script lines... like when a character says somthing sooo played out such as " i cant save you, i cant even save myself"... or "see you in hell" and other lame played out cleche one liners. Come on.. come up with someone else even if it sucks it'll be funny instead of annoying.
