My husband just left on a 4 day business trip, and I´m lonely already.
What do you do when your husband is away?
I live in a foreign country and don´t speak Deutsch, so I don´t have any friends here.

Thats not nice.
I remember what that was like when I lived far far away from home.
Mind you my other half was such an A Hole that I was just as lonely when he was at home as when he wasnt!
Get involved in some forums (as you are now) maybe a bit of messenger with family etc. Stay busy. Bake, art, anything.
As you start to get a bit of the language you will make more friends.
Is there an expats group where you are?

My husband has just left for Europe for 8 days. N I keep myself busy by internet. Making friends through internet can also help since you're a foreigner in the country. Take one step at a time. You can also try to learn the foreign language slowly by internet. It helps you kill two birds with one stone.

My husband is an Officer on a submarine. That means that for deployments, 2 of which lasted 6 months, our primary means of communication was e-mail and then, only if the sub was *not* in an undisclosed location. Which meant I heard from him very rarely.
Four days is nothing, you'll be okay, and I'm sure you can speak on the phone at night.

My husband is in the Military so by now I am used to him leaving me if it is a week or maybe 3 I just clean make sure our house is nice and play on the computer.
I dont like being alone but I have because thats the way the military is.!

You can take up a hobby like making jewelry, painting, making vases etc...
My hubby is away 10 months to a year and a half at a time (military).
Maybe, you can take classes on line a long with teaching yourself a hobby.

When my husband is away on business, I tend to surf the net when I have the time and catch up on movies or TV series on DVD that I haven't had time to watch. If you have no one to hang out with, treat yourself to a nice manicure/pedicure and then get your favorite take out and go home and RELAX!

I don't know how people can be together every day! ;-)
Start a hobby, look to see if there is an english club in the area, pamper yourself, go exploring and see what's fun to do there. Enjoy your "alone" time...

Plan a romantic night for when he comes home. Buy candles, chocolate and strawberries, nice music, anything to keep your mind off him being gone and focused on making him feel special when he is home.

have a great time without hiim, sometimes it is good to have me time, I have not long separated and love me time still i get lonely, chat here, call a friend, read a book, wAtch a movie, go outjst enjoy yourself. wish i was near you i would take you out.
