Lionel, Edgar, Clarendel, Clermont? For a boy?

I would go with Edgar. That way he can go by Ed if he wants too later on in life.

Edgar's nice. I don't like Lionel, but at least it's a name. Clarendel and Clermont are just awful. They sound like backwater towns.

I like Lionel & Edgar. Edgar is nice because it can be Ed or Eddie also.

I like Lionel and Clarendel. They are so cute and unique! The other two are good names, but I just like Lionel and Clarendel better.

Lionel- reminds me of a lion. And Nicole Ritchie's dad!
Edgar- reminds me of an old man.
Clarendel- um if I can't pronuce nobody can.
Clermont- actually i like the name!

I must say every1 is entitled 2 there fair share of wrong decisions in the naming department but i can honestly say none of these names appeal to me...Maybe they sound a bit old im not sure what it is . Heres some more suggestion kind of in a way similar-

I'm not crazy about most of them; I would prefer Rendel to Clarendel, which sounds more feminine to me. The others are not tops on my list but, you have to like them for your own son. That is what counts the most. You could name him any of the names and he could end up being an outstanding, wonderful person who everyone loved and therefore, they would remember his name with fondness because of who he was. Go for what makes you happy and raise him to be that wonderful, outstanding guy with pride in his name, whatever it may be.
