There is a noise in the front of the Buick. Thought at first it was worn tires. Got new tires for the front and the noise is getting louder. It is worse when you turn the steering wheel to the right and you can feel a slight vibration in the steering wheel. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Tyra99. From your description of the problem the first thing I would check is a wheel bearing. When you make a turn to the right it applies more pressure to the bad section of the bearing. Jack up the front of the car, support it securely, and grab the top and bottom of the tire. There should be no movement or clunking in the bearing. If you are not doing the job yourself take it in and get it checked and repaired ASAP.

Maybe a slipping power steering fan belt if it's separate from the serpentine belt. Otherwise, maybe the power steering pump is going bad. Check the level of the power steering fluid and add more to the cold or hot level if needed. This assumes you hear the noise while turning in a parking lot, not at road speed where the wheels are turning rapidly.

It could be a bad CV joint. It's a front wheel drive vehicle and the bearings are shot. Look into that real soon before disaster occurs. CV-constant velocity

I agree with bobweb. That is the classic frount wheel drive bearing check. As to which side it is, I have been wrong exactly 100% of the time. So you are probubly wrong and it's the left one..
