If you married legally you should have a copy of your marriage certificate.
You should meet the requirements of your country before you can marry a person. Issues like the legal age if not your parents consent... etc.
You can get all this information to a Civil Registry in your place.

If you are legally married, you should have a marriage certificate that says when and where you got married, two witnesses should have signed it and the judge, priest or whoever married you has to sign it. And it should have an official stamp on it too.

go or call the courthouse in the county you were married. They will have record of the marriage and be able to provide the certificate for a fee.

What kind of question?

Married : need to prove, for what? for your children? for your legal matter? Then provide your marriage certificate.

If just let others know you are married. Then no need to prove that.

Usually the courthouse will issue the certificate but you have to go in and request it. You have to fill out paperwork for both you and your spouse.
