Unless you have some sort of contaminated water- you shouldn't be boiling the water at all. Boiling past a slight rolling boil can cause the natural minerals in water to bind together and sink to the bottom.

Call your docs office and ask. There may be a reason to do this that concerns the area you live in or a certain condition your doc is watching for in YOUR child.
If neither of those is the case, stop. I never used warm milk with my son. I always used room temp bottled water. He never had much spit up and it was easier to get a bottle on the go.
Good luck and best wishes.

is that boiling water for the milk?till the baby is taking milk from the feeding bottle. But boiling water for drinking too till your baby is old is okay as long as you boil it properly you count 30 minutes from boiling point. That's also true when sterilizing feeding bottles you start counting from boiling point too when you don't have a sterilizer pot.So that's 30 minutes from boiling point. This boiling thing is presuming we cant buy
sterilized/mineral water,but it is available,weigh the expenses
of boiling versus just buying the water from supermarkets.Which is more practical then go for it.

I used nursery water up until she was about 4 months. Now I just use filtered water...I have one of those filter pitchers.
Since I don't have a dishwasher I sanitize her bottles every night by boiling them.

I am not sure about that..my son is also 5 months. Why dont you get a water filter..the kind that goes on your faucet, then you dont need to boil it and the water is pure...plus you can use it too =)

I would keep going and stop at around 10 months.
By that time, the baby should be eating more table foods or at least more solid forms of baby food.
If you aren't sure, you can always call those "ask a nurse" services or your pediatrician.

Our pediatrician told us to stop when the baby was crawling and rolling around on the floor.
