NO Internet? At least as we know it.
Assuming that to be true. Other "what ifs" come to mind. The original Internet was between colleges. (Yes - I am old enough to have used it then.) College professors used it to trade ideas. Some of those idea lead to other things we now take for granted. Without the Internet as it was then or later, would video tape have been brought to the consumer? Would we also be missing VHS? BETA? CD? DVD?
I'd probably be working more or watching TV more or playing cards with friends more. Another thing - I'd be just driving around more. In that era, it was perfectly normal to "just go for a drive".

I've canceled my Internet access a few times because of the cost. Thinking I could live with out it. Yes I watched more T.V. but after a few months I missed being part of the Internet community and come back.

I used to read books a LOT before I got a computer. So I'd probably go back to reading several books a week.
I rarely watch TV now that I have a computer. So yes I'd probably watch TV more.

Definitely more TV... and programming. One could spend hours trying to re-create a whole Internet.

I'm sure I would watch more TV, but I'd read more. There is this excellent book three feet away from me that I've had for two months and I can't get past chapter one. That's pretty bad.

I dont know i think id survive..
Friends always come before the computer anyway....
So id probs just do random stuff with the music on in tha backround, i can't watch T.V all day it make me feel lazy and i get bored :D

i seriously watch so much tv already. then spend the rest of my time on the internet. so im thinking that i would be watching ALOT more tv.

no i would be reading more instead because i use the interest mainly for school work and it saves me a lot of time without it i'd be in big trouble when it comes to book reports and essays.

I'd be playing more video/computer games. I don't like TV that much, there's never anything good on (everything is a dang repeat)
