I haven't seen the Beatles as a group on stage, but separately and many years apart I have been to a Ringo Starr All Stars concert and a Paul McCartney concert. My favorite Beatle was George, and all it took was a still pic from A Hard Day's Night with him in a black turtle neck sweater under a suit jacket for my heart to sing. One of my favorite George Beatle songs was While My guitar gently weeps, but in all honesty I love most of their music, and it is so difficult to pick just one song by them that is a favorite. Even now, all these years later, I still get the urge to scream when I see footage of them on TV or watch A Hard Day's Night. Whenever I need to remember how innocent the world once was, I play the Beatles.

"Maybe I'm Amazed" is my favorite Beatles song. The guy I went with on and off for 5 years (that I was madly in love with) used to play it for me all the time. I still love that song and think about it whenever it comes on, even though it didn't work out with him.

My wife and I had "Two of Us" as the exit music for our wedding ceremony. Two of my best friends performed the song.

Life changed for us all when four moptops sang to us "I want to hold your hand". They didn't realize that they would also hold our hearts and our minds with their simple and easy going spirits too.
