I just switched my daughter to formula (she's 3 mo) and after realizing she needed soy products (b/c she had loose stools and upset tummy with other kinds) now she hasnt had a bowel movement since in over 24 hrs. Is this normal? Im used to a breastfed baby pooping with almost every diaper change. How often should she go now?

Changing from breastmilk to formula to soy in a short amount of time will definitely cause digestion problems in almost any child.

Speak with your child's doctor but I wouldn't be concerned about a 24hour lapse. If your child is excessively gassy or seems to be in discomfort I would seek assistance.

At 3 months your baby should not be pooping every time she eats even with breast milk. My son poops about once a day, sometimes every two days and he is breasstfed. So I would figure that formula would be about the same.

Same thing happened to me...my girl goes once or twice a day. Sometimes she may not go at all, but if she doesn't go within a 48 hour period I add a cap full of prune juice to one of her bottles. That usually gets everything flowing. But her stools have been solid since starting formula.
