That poor girl. Not only was she encouraged by her awful parents to go on X Factor, they dressed her like a bride. They set her up for one almighty let down, she will no doubt be the laughing stock in her neighbourhood for years to come. I have no doubt that she will need therapy over this in the future.
Apart from the fact the entire family were obese (for which they need help and support not ridicule) it seemed that they were not particularly bright...certainly not intelligent enough to realise that this televised audition would be nothing more than poking fun at them (the flumps music in the background) should have been a dead giveaway.
To the poor 17 year old, I would suggest she stopped listening to her family, get help losing the weight and put the X Factor fiasco down to experience. To the family I would say...you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Poor girl never stood a chance.
She needs to seriously lose some weight, but when you saw her family, you know it'll never happen.
Her parents also need to wake up and realise that the girl CAN'T sing - she may be very talented compared to the rest of the family, but she certainly doesn't have what it takes to win a national competition. They created her mega-disappointment by building her up for the fall.
Her mother looked a disgrace. Simon was right when he said they should all take a long hard look at themselves.

O Gosh,I did feel bad for her,I mean I know her signing skills were off,but she really thought she was in with a chance, and I didn't think to much of the dress, and it didn't really suit her but she tried her best,I believe Simon was doing it for the right reasons to help her out for the future, but she must have felt so discouraged.

It's blooming child abuse is what! I felt really angry that she is not only fat but also deluded because the fat b*stards of parents that she's got keeps pushing and pushing her into it (her mother's own words, which she later denied and said she never pushed the poor girl into anything). No doubt the parents will fall back on the whole genetic blame game if confronted about the size of that poor girl. And dressing that girl in that meringue!! What are they trying to do to her? Make her into a walking circus??

i felt really bad for that girl...she is a victim of the happy slapping thing that's going on these days so being rejected like that was another knock to her confidence/ esteem, she has become a cmplete recluse since that happened to her...her parents were appalling, how can they do that to her and have her believe that she was a star...OK we all think our kids are the best ever, but making her go on TV is a major humiliation... her father needs to wear that dress himself and see how she feels, it was so embarrassing for that poor girl...she was a very pretty young thing and i think if her parents fed her healthy food she would not be so painfully shy because for a girl of that age...she is desperately over weight which will give her serious health problems in the future...i think they were very cruel to do such a thing to that girl...i would love to meet them in a dark alley...i would slap the fat off of the 2 of them...that poor girl...i wish i could have given her a hug i felt really bad for her, if she slimmed down then she would be beautiful...because she is already very pretty despite the weight...her parents should be ashamed of themselves (i sung in the choir so she must have followed in my footsteps) hmmm I'm wondering what kind of choir...maybe a cats choir, coz there's no way that girl has been influenced by either of them...the only influence they have put upon that girl, is to eat lots of bad food...shame on them....

Someone had to tell her - she couldn't sing and it was a terrible audition, which the girl (Emma?) herself didn't seem to really want anyway! Her parents should be ashamed of themselves for letting their daughter (who looked as though she was actually very pretty underneath the Volkswagens-worth of extra weight) get to such a size, not to mention themselves. The whole thing was like a carnival freakshow; grotesque and repulsive - the dress doesn't even come into it.

She is an over-rated Diva & Susan Boyle outshone her along with her "Wild Horses" conceal....think of Mariah grew to become into sturdy 20 years in the past yet now do no longer even think of she sang stay & she grew to become into uninteresting..won't be able to look ahead to Alisha Keys next week, she will sing & she performs piano like an angel & she is actual alluring devoid of behaving like a diva

Her parents need a bloody good hiding, what were they thinking of?
That poor poor girl is seriously overweight, then her dad dresses her like the bride of frankenstien!
Worse thing is, is that she was pretty.
I'm sorry parents like that should be shot!
