She does that because she cares about you. It may be annoying but it's better than having a mother who doesn't give a crap about you.
But then again if you're like 30 years old tell her to mind her own business...lol

dear love your mom as not todau but later in life you will always miss her and all the scoldings will be like blessings for you.. she is expereinced more than you and she better knows what will be good for you.. never answer back think when you are not angry where did you go wrong and try to corrtect yourslef.. if you are right just explain her the stuff.. she will surely understand,,,

Snow White she is just doing what she thinks is right for her little girl. Do not be too hard on your mom as someday you may be a parent also and will find out what it is like and then will see why she at times may need to scold you and make you feel so childlike.

I don't think so mum has control your life.
If you make the right thing, she does not scold at you.
If you have your own mind, you tell her what you think, why you think that, how do you solve the problem, and so on, I don't think so mum scold at you.
Just say you are mature. Nobody scold at you!

Your mom controls your life because that is her job. When you grow up, get your own job, move out of her home, pay your own bills, she will have done that job successfully and will no longer control your life. If you are over 18 and a parent is still controlling your life, that is your own damn fault!

try to think of what shes asking of you as things she wants you to do to be the best you can be....if you want, try going to this kid/parent site:

You can write a letter to your parent (with anonymisity) and when you feel up to, have a talk with her..maybe you would want her to see the site, too....
