I have really sore, tender breasts and nipples. I have been just started on the pill only 2 weeks ago. Could this be causing it? or could I be pregnant and this be a symptom? the last time I had sex was over a month ago.

that's a pill symptom for sure, but keep an eye on it and talk to your dr. if it doesn't go away. Your body needs a couple of cycles to get used to the pill.

The only way you could be pregnant is if you had unprotected sex whilst fertile and you missed your last period. The tender breasts are probally being caused by the birth control as you are taking hormones which basically trick your body into thinking it's pregnant, therefore, making it so you can't get pregnant AND that means you may experience a symtom or 2 mimicking those of pregnancy- sore breasts, acne, weight gain, ect. If you are really concerened about it go see your doctor.

The pill can cause sore breasts. Your doctor should have checked for pregnancy prior to giving you your Rx for the pill.
