Without swapping a lot of the internals of your current engine - I would not advise putting a methane in there.
Get a used gixer - that will give you some speed you crave.

Nitro Methane is not an additive... it is the fuel. Hydrocarbons are fuels. A carbon molecule surrounded by hydrogen is a fuel... Methane (I'll have to double check) I believe is 8 carbons and 18 Hydrogens creating C8H18 adding nitrogen makes it NC8H18. anything labeled with Ethane or Ethanol is a hydrocarbon (M-ethane; m-ethonal)
also you have to figure your model car/airplane/boat that uses nitro methane is a 2-stroke engine. and a Gallon of 16% mixture of nitro-methane (NC8H18) is between $20-$30 and is mostly oil for the 2-stroke engine. but there is too much oil in that fuel, and it evaporates really quick.
not to mention.. pure nitro methane is extremely unstable... mixing any hydrocarbon with Nitrogen makes it really volatile, and easy to make your bike go boom just by someone sitting next to it (in some cases just the vibrations of your engine will do this).
adding additives to stabilize the fuel only makes it more expensive and you loose whatever gain you might have had.
Now there are adapter kits to put Nitrous Oxide (NO2) canisters on your bike... but make sure your bottom end can take it first.

You can use anything you want as long as you are willing to pay the price in maintenance and repairs. Personally, I never saw the need to fool around with exotic fuels. I'd rather spend my money on other things...

nitro methane is a fuel that aa/f dragsters and funny cars have been using since the late 1950's. there are fuel bikes too, but they are highly modified. nitro methane containes it's own oxygen. in a dragster they get 18 times more fuel in a cylinder than they could with gasoline. ounce for ounce it burns cooler than gasoline, but at 18 times the volume it burns very hot.
you can mix a little with the gas but you better get it right, it's very expensive and it will melt your pistons if you use too much.
the right mix will give a very noticable increase in performance.

Assuming your want to use this fuel to gain performance, don't. Get rid of the Harley and get a performance bike, it will be alot cheaper in the end with alot more performance to boot. You simply cannot turn a hog into anything that can run with a rocket.

Putting nitro in a Harley is like blowing cocaine up your grand fathers nose. He will go like hell, but only for a moment.

this is not a bike to be using nitro. u will destroy the engine in a half second. it wasnt designed for it. u wouldnt be able to handle nitro on a bike that could handle it anyway....u'd get splattered.
