Not one I'm happy with-that is still just unreal to me. The guy writes peace songs and is called a terrorist. I don't know how people believe this stuff.

I think it's safe to say anyone can be called a terrorist.

A world in which a persons statements can be blown out of context and used to deny their rights.
Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens):
""The Koran makes it clear, if someone defames the Prophet, then he must die. The backlash over reports that I'd supposedly endorsed the death sentence that Islamic fundamentalists had levied against Salmon Rushdie for the alleged blasphemy of The Satanic Verses hurt quite a lot because that whole episode was taken out of context. But it was merely a reiteration of scriptural principle, not a literal call to action. And there are elements within the press who really have no loyalty to anybody except a good headline. If you were to ask somebody, 'What does the Bible say about adultery?' they would have to quote chapter and verse -- that's the honest thing to do. And you'd find bits in the Bible that say you should stone the person. Now, that means the President of the United States is eligible for stoning. That doesn't mean anybody's gonna do that!""

""I was a sitting target, in a way, for anybody who wanted to make some kind of headline," Islam told Phillips. "I certainly never supported the Fatwa, but when I was asked about ... the actual principle of blasphemy and capital punishment, well, like the Bible, I said, '"You know, yeah, it's there, it's in the Koran.' And I couldn't deny that." ""

Oh you mean the guy who said Salman Rushdie should be killed for writing the Satanic Verses?

oohbother, he said it. Trying to take it back now because he's run out of dough and sees the Stones and Led Zep still making money on tour - in fact even Chad and Jeremy played the Center for the Arts in Natick last night - is just pathetic.

I'm not familiar with the author of of "Piece Train" and do not know who hi is, but it is very much obvious that Bush administration considers anyone who promotes world piece and who is against any war to be an enemy of the US and therefore they denied an entry visa to this individual. In addition after I read certain answers here I'm very much shocked how dumb, stupid and mad some individuals are.

What kind of religion is it that takes a guy who writes a song called "peace train" and convinces him to say Salmon Rushde should burn to death, for writing a book critical of Islam?

The same guy converted to Islam later in life and decided he was "onboard" with the Fahtwa issued by Ayatollah Khomeini on Salmon Rushdie.

Tell him to go to Mexico (unless he is already in Mexico) and sneak across our southern border like about 25 million Mexicans have already done. He will never be located once he's in here.
