what is the point of having friends?

why would anyone want to waste their time with someone they consider inferior or superior or at the same level? i really really dont understand. why would anyone want to look weak or strong?

depending on someone stronger is just a waste of their time. and depending on someone weaker is a waste of your time. having friends who are like you is a total waste of time.

why would anyone want to recall the day he/she gave someone a good advice?
why would anyone want to remember the day he/she declasse his/herself in front of someone?

plz no hateful comment. i'm just super curious. have been homeschooling for sometime. i really miss my school friends. but even in school i dont have that many friends.

to have friends is part of culture and heritage...part of society....may be u might think one way or other...but it is true that a friend in need is a friend indeed...this philosophy goes a long way back and time tested...may be u agree or maybe not....it is one choice....friends are part and parcel of a human being....good luck...

Really its what happens when you put two mirrors up next to each other, try it... cool huh! Thats what happens when people relate honestly and construtively with each other, it doesn't go infinitly but the points there, one thought/idea/feeling bounces of another, creating another, and bouncing back, sometimes. Were in a social/cultural crisis right now so the whole fact anyone can make a good friend is BS. We have some shallow, hatful, lost people and if you don't take people with a grian of salt, and an ounce of understanding, your going to loss faith in people for anything worth awhile. But lets put that aside without people in your life you become amoral, thats all there is to it, you loss purpose an become nothing more then a selfish animal living for its own survival, well lets not get caught on if you actually help out animals, thats cute but thoughtless in the fact that you could INCREASE that action thru other people. Which also proves the only thing that makes us human is each other and this bitter/sweet western culture of ours, which is slowly become a world culture.... people and there friends.....
