Width = One half of the Length L = L/2 or 0.5L

W = 0.5 L

2) Sale price = c + 25 where c is the cost price. If S represents the sale price, S = c + 25

1) If the length is L then the width would be just 1/2(L) or 0.5(L)
2)A profit would be how much money he made off the sale or in other words, the amount sold-amount bought. Therefore, 25=AS-C which can be rewritten as AS=25+C
