Its unique and its fun to say.
plus, i hated melrose in ANTM.

I like Caridee better as the person and as the name because Caridee is more unique and exciting and Melrose is well

Well since I couldn't stand Melrose on ANTM, I'd have to go with Caridee. Actually, I'd go with Caridee anyway, even if I never watched ANTM. I think it's a pretty and unique name. Melrose reminds me too much of Melrose Place, or the street itself.
