Well to start bats eyes not being of use and the entire "blind as a bat" thing is a myth.

Bats are more or less grouped into two large groups, you have your megabats (megachiroptera) and your microbats (microchiroptera). Mega bats are your fruit bats and do NOT use echolocation, they rely on sight, sound and smell. So of course they need their eyes. Even with your micros which are the those that use echolocation, well they still use their eyes on a regular basis. It is just that their main way of seeing (easy way to put it) is through echolocation.

Nonetheless bats need their eyes 100%.

bats have eyes and they are useful too.
but they are useful only at night.
thay have more corn cells in eyes ,so they can see better at night.
then too their eyes are under developed.
all cave dwellers have such eyes , as they live all time in darkness, so their eyes are modified for their habitat .

They weren't 'given' eyes.

All mammals have eyes, they might be atrophying in some species but if you're a creationist most of biology isn't gonna make sense to you.
