I know we are conditioned to think finitely, but what about pondering those things that have no beginning and no ending?

We can train our self to be open & ponder concepts & travel to some answers where even words can not convey what we discovered. It is learned in the doing. But alas, in this form there is an event horizon. There are things that are unspeaksbles, we will not be able to share in the confines of words, they must be experienced. And then there are unknowables, you may feel they are there, but we just can't quite get there in this form, but we won't always have this form so eventually we will know.

That is a very majestic question sweetheart!
And it plays with my paranoia a bit because I have seen visions from this Infinite Intelligence lately. Seriously....Keep an open mind dear philosopher. I had a grand dream,a nightmare actually, where I was questioned with this. The truth about it was that I was threatened with having to become God.
Threatened! I became very aware of my humanity and thought to myself....I would be alone in space and time with nothing but my human level of intelligence for all of eternity and then I pondered the question of whether or not I would Evolve over time. I wonder how open a mind has to be to collect infinite thoughts and if only God can send you these lessons of thoughts.
Maybe it is just a major amount of Common Sense, huh? Would'nt that beat all!

To train the humain brain infinitely means that you have to go back in time and undo the the finite training you recieved. Either way in life we have to discard stuff we were tought, for it's no good anymore. Clean all that and start on a new baby! Then you be able to train yourself. You still can do it if you take a topic and get to the infinite ( to a point ) of it.

No. We can only teach a dog so many tricks. We can teach apes language but they can only learn 300 words. They have limits and so do we. An octopus is smarter than a dog but in a different way. We are not hard wired for that. And no training or conditioning can change it that much. But we can try, can't we? Because the human spirit is infinite.

the brain is actually capable of thinking infinitely otherwise you cannot be able to put up even this question in Yahoo. the fact is, every single move or thought you make even in the minutest form is a result of the brain's activity. the brain is and will always be the center of all the animals' life. without the brain, you cannot even breath or smell or see because before you can even recognize that the smell of a certain perfume is for example Cool Water, your brain already knows about it. You may not know it, but your brain is already and in fact thinking infinitely.

i can only answer simply for everybody's comprehension. if you feel that this answer is incomplete, just contact me and ill give you a more detailed answer.

Biologically, it's not possible.

When the brain dies, you die. The brain stops thinking when it dies. So it does not think infinitely.

It's the ideas--that are left in this world--that are infinite, just waiting for new mortals who have brains that would allow them (mortals) to ponder about them (ideas).

Just trying to be very simple and basic.

Hope that helps.

Our brains are quantum computers that regularly transcend our linear world of space/time.
Due to the way we see the world, and hence how it appears, most transcending in western society happens while we are asleep. Pondering / contemplation is a very effective form of prayer - one of the highest forms actually. It's all about focused energy - the human brain can do anything.

your word, conditioned, to me is important! i think its more of a case to un-train the brain that has been conditioned to only think in the finite
as someone else mentioned, children are born with this ability, to think infinitely

But only God can answer this question since he owns every body on this earth and he is the one to decide when one stops every thing (Death)or for more check Deutronomy 29:29. But to human the only thing known is about falling a sleep where ofcourse its like brain has now stopped and its taking a rest.

The education system makes everyone relatively equal. Educating yourself is the door to infinite knowledge.
