They will if ND loses to Navy...That will be the test for Weis at this point...If he fails THAT one, he's out...Even Gerry Faust didn't screw up the Navy game...
Maybe they should put Les Miles on speed dial...He might be looking for a higher profile job...

I think it's partly his fault, but more so with the players he has. Jimmy Clausen is a premadonna. He should have went with Sharpley as the quarterback this year. He needs to get some bigger receivers out there, I think he can't see them when the hurricane blitzes are coming.
Tom Zibikowski is too busy fixing his gloves every play, making sure he is looking pretty. The offensive line is horrible. And how do you run a 3-4 defense when you don't even have a 300 pound nose guard? Some of the freshman he played yesterday were better than the upperclassmen. I would just put all of them in, so they can get experience for the next season. In the next year or so, they'll turn it around.

Nope, it's all Ty Willingham's fault that there aren't enough good Juniors and Seniors at ND, Weiss can't possibly be expected to coach that team. Come on just watch ESPN and they do blame Willingham leaving "the cupboards bare". Sorry but a big school like ND shouldn't be worried about the Juniors and Seniors, because big programs, if they are any good, don't have very many Juniors and Seniors. If the program was REALLY any good then most of the best players leave for the NFL.

Yes, and there is plenty of blame to spread around for they lack of talent this team puts on the field each week. Weis is looking like " The Emperor has no clothes" without talent on the field to execute his "wizardry". Maybe he needs to talk to his old boss Bellicheat to develop some spying to intercept the other teams signals. Nah, that wouldn't help them even if they knew what was coming. They have a chance to be winless this year if you look at the upcoming schedule even Duke is showing signs of life so I'm not sure at this point if the Irish can get into the win column all year with this crew.

Weis got a contract extension for his services way to early. Now he is not producing.
So, I think ND will blame Weis.

Who else do you blame? They are mostly all his recruits, he runs the practice, he calls the plays. He's a big fat wad of a man who has no self discipline when it comes to keeping himself in shape. His team reflects that. Its really hard to be an Irish fan!

If you blame Ty for thin talent this year, then you gotta credit him for the good players who were there the past two years.
