I hated it all my life too for the same reasons and never tasted it.. hehe until I got a bit older. My family was having dinner and my sisters boyfriend made me try it. I swear it was sooo good. Its one of my favorite foods now.

I cant eat pigs feet! I couldn't be in the house when it was being cooked because I'd puke every time from the smell. The smell was so odd and strong that I couldn't help it.

We all hate foods based on our other senses besides taste. But here's a little secret, as we age our taste buds become less sensitive so foods we may have hated as a child become not only tolerable but downright addictive as we can finally taste them without being over whelmed. Try eating fish sticks or battered filet's and just tell yourself they are chicken and then see if the flavor suits you and don't skimp on the tarter sauce!

Just try it! The truth is, that fishy smell is not natural... perfectly fresh fish is not like that at all, it's old fish that acquires it. Anyway, what's life without risks? If you try it and don't like it, all is not lost. At least you'll know for sure!
By the way I hate the taste of beef that is well done. I like it rare or the flavour disguised with sauce. It tastes horrible well done! =oD

Get pass this sight and you can find yourself enjoying one of natures most enjoyable dishes. Fish, particularly the Talipia is sweet and when baked with a little bit of butter and lemon juice is so divine. You should try some first - Fried fish also is great - Whiting.....I also like crab, shrimp, salmon (cakes).

What I don't like is organ meats such as liver. I don't eat the outside of the pig - pig feet, ears, tail, etc. I don't like deer, possum, or any other 'wild' animal delights. Basically, I am your chicken and fish girl. Every now and then I will eat steak and hamburger - I also like roast.

I've traveled around the world and always prided myself on being willing to try any food. But once in Turkey, they brought out a salad/appetizer cart and it had an entire poached goat brain laying on a bed of lettuce...just couldn't do that one. That was over 30 years ago and I still get a little gaggy just thinking about it.

You can get fish just the meat cooked in batter, so it kind of looks like a chicken burger but it's not a circle more like sort of a rectangle, and tastes different. It's not bad, but I personally like chicken and land animals better.

I hate raw fish. I'm not into sushi, sashimi, maki and the like. I had a traumatic experience as a child when I was forced to eat sashimi at a Japanese restaurant. I never acquired a liking for it ever since.....

I once got tricked into eating deer heart...sick. I have a friend who hunts and I used to eat the ground meat to be nice and not look like a sissy but I can't eat any type of venison anymore. I can't stand oysters either. Salty and rubbery...ugh.

I love fish but can't bring myself to try sushi. Can't say I hate it because I've no idea what it tastes like!
