Imagine a section of town where a certain ethnic group is forced to live-- that's a ghetto. In fact, "ghetto" is a term that was used to describe the areas that Jews were forced to live in Europe. Now the term can refer to any area where a certain ethnic group live voluntarily or involuntarily. In the U.S. the term usually just refers to people who live in housing estates or "projects." Because poverty and a host of other ills (social and otherwise) are prevalent in these areas, people display behavior that can be construed as aberrant. Lately this odd behavior has been celebrated in popular culture in line with the whole bad is good and good is bad trend in society.
So now that I've said that, I think that everybody is a little ghetto. But I don't think that fact should be celebrated. i think we should be trying to create a better society, not one where everyone has his own agenda and tries to get others on his side to support the same.

I think poverty oppression has led people to live in places they wish they had to means to leave. Prejudicism has held people back but things are changing. Education is expensive but slowly people who live in ghettos are escaping. Poverty keeps people down. There are ghettos in every culture white black and red and yellow.
