I think it is pretty hard to argue that anybody is better than either of these teams at this point of the season. LSU looked really good in putting away a pesky Spurrier lead South Carolina team, and USC showed that Booty can air it out like the previous 2 QBs did. Could USC's great offensive line slow down Glenn Dorsey? Could Matt Flynn put the team on his back and make the big throws in a big game? Could the Trojan's front seven withstand an SEC running attack?

All I know is that Oklahoma has beaten 4 junk teams. I don't even see how you can put them in the conversation without playing any real competition.

USC is a better team. USC has 8 quality defensive players who could start in the NFL. Their defense is better than LSU's offense. On offense, USC has 7 running backs who would befuddle LSU. LSU has a great defense but when you have Sam Baker on that line that's huge. USC is a much more talented team than LSU and LSU's offense would get shut down by USC's defense.
Also: When USC was beating Nebraska 42-10, USC put 3rd and 4th stringers in the game.

I think LSU looked pretty good last week. People don't give enough credit to Spurrier and the Gamecocks. They deserved that #12 ranking, so they hung in there and made the Tigers work for it. But I think USC would win this battle. I don't think any D will shut down this deep of a team. That O Line will handle Dorsey, and give JDB all sorts of time to pick apart that secondary.

I think the game could go either way. Both teams have a great offense and need to bring their A game if the want to win. It's gonna be a great game.
I am rooting for USC, because I am from California.

LSU looked terrible yesterday, they couldn't stop S Carolina. Although USC has shaky QB play, they are the best team in the nation. Oklahoma would beat the LSU team I saw yesterday. How does Florida keep winning?

Right now USC probably would, end of year probably LSU. USC has more playmakers, but they have a much worse qb, but by the end of the year LSU will have a much better offense and more developed schemes.

LSU without a doubt. The SEC is too physical for USC. I would say that there are a couple of teams in the SEC that could beat USC. But I guess I'm a lil bias. I'm an LSU alum. :)

I really believe LSU would win because of its great defense. The offenses are pretty equal, but LSU has the best D in the country.

Obviously, you haven't seen Oklahoma play this year. They are clearly the best team right now. They are about equal to USC and LSU on defense, but OU's offense is unstoppable! Much better than the other two.

I think quarterbacks in the NFL are dreading to see Glenn Dorsey in their faces already. This guy is a savage. The mighty USC will fall if they get to play LSU.

LSU would win, but the AP poll would keep USC #1.
