I had someone go totally off on me and call me everything but a good person. Then I get an email like "hey, how's it going, not much new here."
I was too stunned to reply, and still wonder if they have multiple personality disorder or what?

Gotta say that if someone had done that to me I wouldn't bother responding.
Sounds to me like they have some serious issues that they need to deal with.

If you felt like you have to respond it would be worth pointing out that you were quite offended by the torrent of abuse you received and would appreciate an explaination. If they have a multiple person disorder thay may not have been aware that they abused you previousley and that is why you got the astonishing e-mail afterwards.

Perhaps you could view the e-mail as an impetus to talk to them a little further, and a little more in depth. Without mentioning the meltdown, see if you can gently direct them toward revealing what it is that is truly bugging them, and if it really is something requiring urgent medical attention perhaps you could guide them to it, without coming across as being patronizing or condescending?

This is assuming, of course, you two are more than just random acquaintances, and there's enough mutual trust existing to warranted delving into such personal issues.

Yep they have the disorder.

My story is wierd, anyway this chick who I was friends with claims she is psychic when she isn't, thinks she is a lesbian because she hates men but she goes out with a transgendered, and thinks that for every insult you get on the net you should inform the cops about it every time.

Besides dropping her as a friend for that I also dropped her for calling me coward because I didn't get the police onto someone who insulted me online.

I think someone needs an exorcism or possibly shock treatment.

This woman has kids, I feel sorry for them.

oh yes, i've known a few like that..... their mood swings are volcanic and you don't know whether to smile and say hello, or file a restraining order. my advice, stay away from them, they'll end up making you nuts.... if the anxiety doesn't cause you to have similar mood swings first.

the thing is, you have to be able to tell the difference between someone who's having a bad day and just freaks out on the first available person AND someone who's a 302 in waiting lol. we all have bad days and minor issues that make us a nutcase from time to time...... but erm.... some people.... well, yes i agree........ some people are just completey whacked LOL ♥

I love Lt. Dan! I just watched gump yesterday.

Anyways, this person obviously has some problems. I wouldn't reply...or if I did I would probably ask them if they're ok b/c they didn't so well yesterday.

And no I never dealt with anyone like that.
G'luck

I had my psycho neighbor tell me today when I told him that he wasn't to speak to my children that "I better get my sh-- together because the f-ing wrath of God was going to rain down on my house and family."

I've been preached at and sworn at before; but never simultaneously! Talk about someone with MAJOR issues!

There are lotsa temperamental people in this world today. They get carried away and say things they shouldn't say and when they realise what they have done, they don't usually apologise. I guess everyone has a different thinking and its upto us to accommodate with that person.

Sure do! The people from other countries who come on here and bash America. Is this not the American version of Yahoo? If we are so bad, why are so many here illegally? That is what I want to know.

No, never any major ones, yet. There have been private issues, sergeant issues, even all the way up to captain issues, but not major.
