yes, for socrates know that he was the great edifice of ancient philosophy. he was the one who started discriminating sophist for using philosophy as a means for earning money and power.

of course I would expect it, that's why I write books and leave documents all over the place. As a Philosopher, I can see the following being the most read books in history but sadly none of mine are amongst them.
1) Cinderella
2) Sleeping Beauty
3) Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
4) The Bible
5) The Koran

As you can see, I am of no real historical interest as humans prefer to read "Fairy Tales" rather than any serious subject. LOL

An unexamined life is not a life worth living. One must be living a life to examine it. Peering into the future two thousand years later was beyond my examination.

if i'm socrates probably yes,i have the idea,the talent,the skill.what more will i expect but rather greatness.and expecting also fame in the next generation

He didn't have time for it,he had to be concentrate on the moment and on the problem, so he could resolve it. He couldn't possibly be distracted by thoughts of fame!
