Let me start by saying that since the original Hoax deboggle of Harry & Larry admitting they done there's for a lark. There are several things to consider.
Crop circles have become much more advanced and detailed then there forebarers.
2nd there have been several scientific studies done on the affects of the crops in question.
Not to let us forget some of the startling and compelling evidence from the fast moving light video's over fields in England that were videoed of the crop circles being made by orbs of light.
There is No Definative Proof one way or the other as to there root cause.
This is not to say that we are not alone.
Anyone that does just a little Homework will in fact have to concede that they are being created by powers and beings much more advanced than we are or we have been monumentaly DUPED.
Either could be the case,
My personal opinion is they are not from us.

I lived in wiltshire for the first 18 yrs of my life grew up in the 80s when it all started, they started with simple circles in the field, these can be caused by birds eating the ears of wheat for just one example.
they got interesting when a simple celtic cross appeared below cherill white horse just a series of i think 6 circles very primitive.
my brother and i were around 13 and 15 at this time we were aloud to believe in aliens as kids do!!
the two guys who claimed to make them were doug and dave what they did was find existing formations and put a cunning D D design near it and claim it as theirs!!
my brother later on started making his own formations and was kinda annoyed when they tagged his!!
either way if they are all man made then none are fake,if some are manmade some are natural or extra terrestrial, who cares.
what matters is going into a field on a beautiful summers day with the smell of the crop the sound of the birds abd some funky people in there chanting etc,its beautiful,oh and they look nice too.

I'm sorry, but the only thing I'll ever need to know about crop circles is that I for one don't think aliens exist, and that some gang of idiots is kicking back laughing over a couple of chilled beers about how many people are falling for their prank. Several people have admitted to having made crop circles. It's just another fad in the world of major pranks, that's all. At least, I think so.

Not too much. I only know that the designs have been getting more and more intricate since the first ones began appearing and that anyone that has claimed to have been making them has been unable to reproduce them in the same quality or time frame. And with the exception of a group from a college tha had access to the material none of them have been able reproduce the low levels of radiation either.
I don't know what their source is but those that claim responsibility for thme have been proven to be...frauds.

Yes, it is interesting. I believe in a similar explanation as the small paragraph in your link.

They're man made. Those who make them have honed their skills since the hoax was first invented.
