My xbox 360 kept locking up, I took it back and bought a PS3. Now I am stuck with a new set of problems. The controller sucks, My fingers keep sliding of of the L2 and R2 buttons, my hands fall asleep when using the controller too. Xbox controllers fell a lot better. There aren't nearly as many games for the PS3, also the games are different when playing them on PS3 then they are on Xbox. The worst problem was finding a place to sit the PS3, it gets extremely hot, so it has to be set out in the open. I had to say good bye to my entertainment system. I guess there are pros and cons to each unit.

hey dude sry 2 burst your bubble but the xbox 360 is quite possibly the most advanced piece of hardware and the ps1 sucked if u compare it even to the N64. the xbox 360 has more sells than the new ps3 and is far more updated and has better graphics than that ***** *** ps1 of urs the 360 kicks the Ps3's *** in sales and more ppl like the xbox 360 cause it is the everyday console and yes it has problems lots of problems but so does the ps3 and adding to that the xbox 360 has the best online play as well so stick this in your pipe and smoke it. and btw i did not just talk about how it sales more so shut up forget the games they r almost the same but im talking about the technology ok not just how it sales more

yeah the xbox 360 has a pretty big failure rate at about 33% according to several sites i have seen. although some of the games are simply awesome (gears of war) i still won't get one due to the fact that microsoft admits selling 360s with crappy hardware. makes u think the system was rushed and microsoft wanted to make a quick buck by launching before sony and nintendo. u probably got the older 360 that they had in stock, according to microsoft the issue was solved in their most recent models. i got a ps3 and a wii, they are great consoles no trouble from either.

Almost a third of XBOX 360 are malfunctioning right from the start. PS3 return rate is only 0.3%.
Let's compare them

PS3 has 8 kernels in Cell processor, Xbox 360 -only 3x2
PS3 uses advanced tech called Blu-Ray, one disc can store up to 50 gb (in the future - up to 200 gb), Xbox 360 - regular DVD (4.7 gb).
Calculations per sec - PS3 - 51-billion-dot-product-operati... per second
Xbox 360 - 33.6-billion-dot-product-opera... per second
PS3 has full media support - USBs, built-in card reader (except 20 gb version), ability to use printer and so on.
Xbox 360 has USBs and only 2 memory slots.
PS3 supports up to 7 Bluetooth Controllers
Xbox 360 - up to 4 Controllers
PS3 - wi-fi included (except 20 gb version)
Xbox 360 - wi-fi will cost you around 130 $

Xbox 360 is widely known for so-called "red ring of doom" problem - it gets overheated easily. My PS3 was running for more than 8 hours non-stop with no problems. Sometimes Xbox 360 becomes so overheated, that thermopaste on CPU melts, drips on motherboard and successfully shortcircuits it.

Besides all of this, I've seen disassembled Xbox 360 - regular PC architecture - Billy Gates is a uninventive nerd (as usual).
When I saw disassembled PS3 - it was a surprise - smart architecture, good cooling (don't buy external PS3 coolers - they make everything worse - original system is good), etc.

In 2008 we'll get more than 300 games.

In some countries people call Xbox 360 "Coffin 360".

Is halo 3 worth the hassle? Will microsoft release it to vista next summer? If halo 3 is worth it to you then dealing with returning your xbox360 multiple times is a part of 360 ownership you will have to get used to.

The games on Xbox360 are superior to other systems. All consoles have problems. It's worth it if you really wanna play the games. Stop complaining and start playing.

with other poster to place it horizontal. i had mine vertical and
