No. I didn't do anything, there's nothing to be scared of.

Since I live across the street from an abuse shelter, I see police cars here daily. Now, I would feel uneasy if there wasn't one! LOL

That actually happened to me once. My husband and I had just moved into a duplex apartment at the time, so we didn't really know who our neighbors were yet. One day, I was home by myself and it was dark out. Well, I was in the living room and I see flashing lights outside. I go to look and there was a police car coming up the driveway. I immediately went into a panic because the first thought that went through my head was that my husband had been in an accident and they were coming to inform me of it. So, I start to go outside and my neighbor also comes outside, but casually waves at me and hops into the passenger side of the police car and they drive away. Come to find out, my neighbor was a cop in training and his "partner" was just coming to pick him up for their next shift. I guess he thought it would be funny to drive up with the lights on. I didn't find it funny at all. Almost gave me a heart attack. If my husband had been at home with me, then I probably wouldn't have reacted that way, but I still would've went outside to see what was going on.

I live in a safe neighborhood. If I saw a police car parked, I would be concerned. I like seeing cop cars drive through my area, I feel safe.

No... I am the only one in my block who does not know how to drive, hence - no car, so police and almost all other official/professional vehicles always park outside my house to do paperwork... I would like to think that my porch garden is also inviting...

No, I'd figure it was one of my colleagues who stopped by to see how retirement was treating me and tell me the lastest stupid things our new corrupt Chief of Police had done.
He is the reason I decided to retire anyway.

No, I would take them some coffee or tea. I think I would feel just a little safer if they were there.
