Just a note about REAL angels:
When they are energized by God's glory, then they shine as with halos, and angels are able to be found right enough do to the unbilblical worship that has emerged surrounding them.
But a true angel will look like any person around you, just more perfected. Not all of them have the wings that they are depicted as having. If you are trying to draw a real angel, then I suggest taking a photo of one of your family's children, say age seven or less, then giving them wings, as that is at most what angels look, then again, you could find an elder with a nice beard and give him an angelic appearance. Typically, the "real" angels are depicted using a model of a young woman, somewhere in the age of 14 to 21 years of age, and placing them under lots of gownage to hide the gender and then add wings and perhaps a garland or goldened ring crown and no, the crown does not have to hover over their head, but set on the brow and ring the head about.
Good luck

Angels are described as looking like ordinary people in the Bible. The wings and halos were interpretations from the middle ages and not supported by the religious texts.

The best thing to do is to draw your own angel up by using another angel picture for ideas-that's the fun of drawing. (as a teen, my hobby was to draw cars from pictures & turn them into "hot rods")

go to www.photobucket.com then type the word "angel" in the search bar. Browse all the pictures til you find the one you like. Print it out if necessary to practice drawing it.
