I bought a female guppy today and i have looked on the net and it said that if it has a black spot on its belly it is pregnant when i read that i looked at my and it had a black spot to is it pregnant
cause i have put it in a other tank

You don't need to put the fry in a separate tank, unless you don't have any liveplants for them to hide

I always hated to use these breeders, because they only stress out the female, and can cause them to abort their babies

If you have a spare 2.5 gallon tank with a heater and filter, you could put your female in there, and take her out once she's done birthing but still provide liveplants in there

the dark spot you see, are the eyes of the fry

Ok I'm gonna go look at my guppies now and look for black spots. I know witch ones are preg because their bellies are so big. I'll get back to ya in a minute.
Ok I looked at my preg. gupps and they do have a darker belly I think it's the babies inside. You should be able to tell they are very plump like they ate way too much!!!

if you have baby guppys make sure to look in the tank for the baby guppys and put them in a smaller tank or the big guppys will eat them(look in the rocks in the bottem they will hide

Watch guppies will eat there young they need lots off hiding places;overcrowding with a clean tank. can be impregnated up too three times from one male etc etc enjoy
