Lemon Juice or ask your pharmacist for what over the counter stuff you could use.
P.S. I have freckles myself. Have tried the Lemon Juice every night before bed with some results after about a week I think it was. I was in high school when I tried to lighten mine cause I have 1000's of them, if not more, and I totally hated them. That was around 20+ yrs. ago. I don't really notice them any more.

You never use lemon juice on freckles, it just makes them worse because it increases you skins sensativity to sunlight, which is what causes freckles in the first place. Always wear sun screen when you go out and dont tan, these will make them even darker.

Stay out of the sun and wear a sunscreen with a high spf factor when you do go out. Staying out of the sun is the only way to lighten them. I have tons of freckles, but they begin to fade when I've been out of the sun for a few days, and all but disappear in the winter when the sun isn't as strong.

Freckles are small tan spots of melanin on the skin of people with fair complexions. Make a smooth paste of oatmeal powder and yogurt, apply on the freckles and leave for 20 minutes and wash with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-freckles.blogspot.com/ for more info.

You don't lighten freckles.
They're part of what makes you who you are
