Currently my Cd Drive is broken and i dont have the money at the moment to buy another one, If i took out my current hard drive with the xp os and and installed into another computer as secondary slave and reformat it and installed xp
Would it would xp load up when i install it again to my current computer ? I just want a 2nd opinion before i do this

Let me make sure I have the whole thing here, you want to pull your hard drive out of your system, install it in another system, format, reinstall XP, then put the hard drive back into your original system.

If I have that right, it sounds good in theory, but there are certain files that XP will look for when it boots to a new motherboard,(which is what will happen in your case), and without the CD it won't happen.

For the same length of time, why don't you 'borrow' the CD ROM from the system you were going to use, install that on yours and go from there?

Hi,
this sounds O.K but sorry it will NOT work you have to install XP on your system.
