I live in a pretty nice mostly interracial area in California, and I've noticed a lot of Black women/White men couples. It doesn't bother me, but I have noticed that when they are together, they think they are better than anyone else. I am dating a Black man but I'm just so tired of these couples thinking that I care.. what do you think? And don't be mean..

I think you care a little bit because you ask a question and thinking about it, so in some way you do care. But to be honest, most people don't care, yeah they may look at you first but once they get use to it, they really don't care. I date interracially and I don't think I' am better than anyone else. The attitude and judgment I get from some people is annoying but I choose to ignore it. Some people do think they are better because they date interracially, but that can be found in any interracial couple not just WM/BF

My husband is white but we don't think we're better than anyone. I actually feel bad for a lot of people for a lot of reasons, but I don't think I'm better than them. We're from Chicago and we see bw/wm couples every now and again but not a whole lot.
Try not to let people upset you. Ignore the looks and just be happy with your man.
God bless!

I live in Texas South east of Houston, and I never see black women with white men down here. I am married to a black man and girl let me tell you, if looks could kill we would have been dead long ago. Anywhere we go its mostly middle to old age white people that stare and shake their heads. I am pretty laid back but every once in a while I will snap and ask them what the F***k are they looking at. Its hard to ignore sometimes, but you almost have to. Even the black women stare. My husband says they look him up and down like" I know he didn't" lol. Interracial dating and marriage is not welcomed down here but I don't care because we love each other and are very successful.

Interracial couples tend to act this way, only because they think others care, and in all actuality, they do care. White women/black men do the same thing, and so does asian women/white men and asian women/black men And any other interracial couple.
Although you choose not to admit it you care as well or you wouldn't have posted this question

Girl, no one is thinking about you. And no one is thinking that their better than you. With the attitude you have, they are probably wondering what the hell your looking at. I am dating a White man in California, same area you describe, and you are no concern of ours. We are too much into each other.

They do? Really? I rarely see black women/white male couples and I also live in California.
Maybe you're imagining it.

Honestly I think they just don't like being stared at and judged. As for the uppity attitude you assume they have, it might just be in your head.
