lately i have been having some cramps similar to period cramps and everything i eat turns into mush. My last period started Sep. 7th and lasted 5 days. I have also had some thick clear discharge which is normal i think during ovulation. I havent had sex in about 2 weeks. My husband and i also use condoms and we check them afterward to make sure its not leaking. We are just not ready to start a family, but if we do then we do.

My question is, are we pretty much in the clear with not getting pregnant and that the pains could just being something else like a cyst or me starting to work out alot.

You're probably not prego. You would have a lot of different symptoms if you were. You may feel sick or just different, kinda weird.

If you don't have a period next month, then get a test.

I think you two are good with the not having a child thing. You usually don't have cramps when you're pregnant(except for labor pains) so I don't think you're pregnant. You're probably just nervous that you don't want to have a child yet, but if you want to make extra sure, go on birth control. I hope I helped!

Any time you have sex you risk the chance of becoming pregnant, no matter what time of the month it is and no matter what type of protection you use.
