Let odd integers be 2n + 1 and 2n + 3
(2n + 1) + (2n + 3) = 56
4n + 4 = 56
4n = 52
n = 13
Integers are 27 and 29

let x be the first integer
x + 2 the 2nd integer

x + x + 2 = 56
2x + 2 =56
2x=56 - 2
2x=54
x=27

x + 2 = 27 + 2 = 29

27 and 29 are the two consecutive odd integer with the sum 56.
